Piggly Wiggly
So I did this quick sketch for Illustration Friday cause I'm crazy busy this week. The topic is hoard. This reminded me of a few childhood memories... When I was a kid I was the queen of manipulating sweets away from my friends. I would tell them that I hadn't eaten for days or weeks even, and that their snickers bar would be the only thing that could save me from a most certain death. I definitely snuck a lot of delicious goodies too. My parents were not as easily persuaded as my school chums so I had to resort to sneaking. I would sneak something delicious preferably way past my bedtime while watching The Twilight Zone.

Haha I love this; it brings me back to my childhood as well... like yesterday...
The expression on her face is great.
Very nice illustration. Love the hair and the color, and everything else.
nice!!! good illo!
great illustration.....those cookie jars ARE tempting.
love it! i can relate
Love the illustration, sounds like me when I was in grade school. I use to sit behind the fridge door and drink the hershey's chocolate syrup. Go figure i'm not a more rotund woman?
Wonderful drawing.
Thanks guys! I wish I could say that I've changed and that I wouldn't do just about anything for a bar of chocolate... but I can't. ;)
Hee hee! This reminds me of when I was little...my mom took me trick or treating and my older sister stayed home with Daddy. They ate all the Peanut Butter Kisses (I hate those!) then wrapped rocks in the paper (just like poor old Charlie Brown!) I guess they were candy hoarders, too!
That's the best story of trickery. Way to go candy hoarders! hehe
I love her hair! As luck would have it my wife has a recent obsession with making cookies, so I've gained like 10 pounds and am soon to become a pig myself. Thanks for your comments btw they are much appreciated!
Cookies are always worth it.
I agree...I love that hair and remember how it used to impeede my devouring of coveted goods. I'm glad our stealth lives on in infamous glory. Good job, my love.
your illustrations are very beautiful! :)
congratulations!
Love it, love it, love it. I love it.
Chocolate is evil! Making sinners of us all! hihi...but worth every morsel!
I'm glad that you've come to terms with the Junkie in you. It's better just to declare I'm a Junkie than to live in denial. :)
I can't believe I didn't leave a comment on your Baba Yaga the last time I visited. I love that! She's so good at being so bad.
And last but not least, thanks for supporting the cause. I can't believe that someone out there thinks that the Orphan Works bill is somehow fair or lawful. I've already filed my concerns with my senator. I hope it NEVER passes. Now, or in the distant future. Let it be so.
Great piece! I was latch-key kid so my snacking was in the afternoon while watching Bugs Bunny. A couple of times that snack ended up being a whole bag of Chips Ahoy. :)
Yep boy do I remember those days, Mer!! You ate all my mom's chocolate chip cookies! I always felt sorry for you.
I love you anyways!
Steph
They were pretty delicious :)
