Tag-tastic
(My corgi Radar is an emphatic reader! He likes Historical Fiction best.)
So I've been tagged by the very talented and versatile Sylvie Van Hulle to write 6 random things about myself and then tag 6 other amazing artists.... so brace your self for random!
1. When I was a tween I was a recurrent extra for Doogie Howser M.D., and Neil Patrick Harris was in Starship Troopers with Denise Richards who was in Wild Things with Kevin Bacon. Which technically puts me at "4 degrees" from Kevin Bacon. How cool does that make me?! (I guess not very.)
2. I've lived in 4 of the biggest cities in the world; LA, Buenos Aires, New York, and London.
3. Among the millions of jobs I've had before realizing what I really want to do... I've been a secretary for the F.B.I, a Floral Designer, and a Construction Worker
4. Growing up I would draw in my journal instead of write in it.
5. I have a thing for stop-motion animation. It really really makes me want to cry. I uber excited about the release of Coraline.
6. My favorite Shakespearian play is Othello.
Phew... It's official. I can't be tagged anymore because I don't think there are any additional "interesting" or "random" things about me.
Anyway, these artists I command that you visit. Cuz they're cool...
Brooke Sadler
David Habben
Emmalee Powell
Houston Trueblood
Jennifer Eichelberger
M. Scott Hammond

Such wonderful line in all your sketches! I'm glad to have stumbled into your blog!
Thanks Andrew and Cyn :)
Your art is so full of character and love.
you have been nominated to recieve a lemonade stand award, please visit my blog for details. Thank you so much!
Corgis rock. What fun facts! I've been a construction worker, too.. which means I have good carpentry skills and I'm good at cussing. Welcome back to the land of the living!
Look at Radar! That must be a good book he's reading. Really adorable drawing.
And what the --! TV extra, FBI, hardhat...holy moly, woman, you are WAY interesting!
ahhh that corgi has so much character :) lovely drawing
Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm also a fan of historical fiction, your corgi has good taste.
Thanks guys for all the nice and incredibly pleasant comments.
And Eric, that is so cool that you are a former construction worker. It makes me feel more comfortable with spitting and cussing in your general direction ;)
O, man, I wish I had checked my blog 3 days ago. I am pleased to be tagged by you and will complete all the require assignments, however today I'm getting ready to take a trip to FL. So, I'll just have to do it later.
Command obeyed. Checked out all said blogs. I love seeing new people's work. Thanks. And that was random. But interesting. You are definitely interesting. And I am sure there is more.
Love your characters!
Cata
Meridth,
I had so much fun reading about you. I always, always knew that you are just an interesting and hilarious person. Is it even possible for me to be even more impressed with you? You are da bomb Lady! It's wonderful! You know I have this great love for stop animation as well!!! I can't get enough of the stuff. Charlie and Lola is one of my favorites! I was trying to work up a character and try to do it at home. I have to get a stop animation program though. Okay, talented Lady, Have a wonderful day!
I think it's super-cool that you're four degrees from Kevin Bacon. BUT how many degrees are you from FRANCIS Bacon, the 16th century author and courtier?
Great work! Put more on your website! I've bookmarked it.
Thanks for your nice notes on my blog.

Jennifer, give into peer pressure cuz you are cool
Shannon and Cata thanks thanks thanks!
Vanessa you are always a doll and I'm glad you and I are in the "Stop-Motion Animation Club." Hooray for art friends.
Abigail, hehehe, all this talk of Bacon has made me extremely hungry. :) I will definitely put more on the website. Thanks for delighting me with a visit!
How wonderful!
I too, have lived in the 4 same of the biggest cities in the world. Also ive had many jobs before i decided what i wanted to do. I've went through billions of jobs searching for what i wanted to do and what i do best. I think alot of people go through that. I think the luckiest people are people who know what the wanted to do from a young age.
I think that is the biggest gift in life you can have: Knowing what you want.
Im really surprised that your favorite Shakespearean is Othello. It used to be mine until i watched Romeo and Juliette 7000 times and fell in love with it.
This is really great! i really enjoyed it
