Hi Friendly Friends

Just got done with our 3rd move this year and have unboxed all my art supplies (not necessarily the rest of the house yet). I'm so excited to get going on all my projects and to catch up with The Sketchbook Project (Phew).

Step Two, Buckle My Shoe

Not sure how many out there are interested in the creative process, or shall I say my creative process. I have to say that most of my ideas come from doodles that I make when I'm suppose to be paying attention to something else. Yay for distractions.

Anyway, I'm going to be part of The Sketchbook Project. It's where, "thousands of sketchbooks will be exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the country. After the tour, all sketchbooks will enter into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library, where they will be barcoded and available for the public to view." I have to fill up a sketchbook by January 2011 and the gallery tour starts the following March.
Super exciting. I can't wait to share the good, the bad, and the ugly that goes on in my sketchbook and gets me to a finished product. For those of you artist/artistan/craftsman buddies out there, give in to peer pressure and be part of the The Sketchbook Project.
