Itchy Wig

It never ceases to amaze me what people will do to "look good." I can't imagine the shoulder cramps one might have receieved while wearing a two foot high wig. (I flattened the wig a bit for my character in order to make him a bit more comfortable.)
Yet, sadly, this odd trend of wearing the most uncomfortable articles of clothing in order to be fashionable is not something of the mere past. We've been torturing ourselves to look good since the dawn of time, i.e. horribly uncomfortable pointy shoes with the thinnest stiletto... How can that prop up any normal-sized human body? Corsets, foot-binding, gaged earings, etc. But I suppose to some it's worth it... (Strange)

I couldn't agree more. I'm personally really glad the fashion for above-hip length tee shirts is on the way out...long live longer length tops...more flattering to us ladies of a certain age, draught-proof and no chance of flashing rolls of flesh!

And don't forget those old wigs came with their own little community of inhabitants! Fleas, ticks, bugs of all kinds, and even mice complete with nests!

I'm itching already just thinking about it...
Thank heavens for daily use shampoo!

Well, I'm eagerly awaiting the fashion to return -- the current get-out for (male) baldies by shaving their heads is bound to be deemed unfashionable soon! ;)

I really like the linework on this one. Have you tried doing these kind of lines with your color stuff? I would love to see it. Also, there are a lot of things I like about Obama. I just seem to agree with Romney on more issues. ¡Viva la Argentina, pues!

I just realized that I made that last comment while signed on as my wife. Anyway, I still love the linework.
